Komal's Gourmet Kitchen is a boutique catering atelier based in Los Altos, California, serving the Bay Area’s most intimate and elegant gatherings.

We specialize in thoughtfully curated, handcrafted cuisine designed for hosts who value exceptional flavor, beautiful presentation, and truly personal service. Each menu is created specifically for the occasion—carefully tailored to our client’s preferences, their guests, and the spirit of the celebration.

At Komal's Gourmet Kitchen, every dish is prepared with intention and care. Our food is cooked from scratch in small batches using fresh, seasonal ingredients and absolutely no seed oils. The result is cuisine that feels refined yet deeply wholesome—elevated home cooking presented with sophistication and warmth.

Because we are a small, highly focused kitchen, we take on a limited number of events. This allows us to devote genuine attention to every menu and every gathering we serve.

Curated Catering
We design bespoke menus for private events, celebrations, and gatherings across the Bay Area. Our cuisine blends comfort with refinement, resulting in dishes that feel both luxurious and heartfelt.
Full-Service
On-Site Catering
For events of up to approximately 100 guests, we offer complete on-site service throughout the Peninsula—from San Jose to Burlingame. Our team arrives with elegant chafing dishes, curated serveware, and a small but highly professional staff who will warm, present, serve, and clean—allowing hosts to relax and fully enjoy their celebration.
Pickup Catering
Clients throughout the Bay Area may also choose to collect their prepared menu directly from our kitchen in Los Altos.
Artisan Desserts
We create a range of refined, handcrafted desserts available for pickup with three days’ advance notice.
Grazing &
Dessert Tables
Our grazing tables and dessert tables are designed as visually striking centerpieces for events. These may be delivered and collected for your convenience.
Tablescaping
For larger gatherings, we also offer thoughtfully designed tablescapes that elevate the entire presentation of the event. This service is available when paired with our catering or dessert offerings.

A Note from the Chef

For many years, I have had the privilege of performing and creating on some of the world’s most celebrated stages. Today, I bring that same artistry, discipline, and reverence for detail into the kitchen. Cooking has always been my most personal form of expression, a devotion to flavor, texture, fragrance, and the emotional memory of food. My culinary style is shaped by heirloom family recipes, global travels, and decades of hosting and entertaining at an exceptional level.

Along the way, I have been honored with national television awards and appearances and recognition on platforms such as MasterChef USA, experiences that refined not only my palate, but my standards. I now accept a limited number of private culinary commissions each season. Every event is personally curated and prepared by me, from the first tasting to the final garnish.

No templates. No repetition. Only bespoke menus designed to reflect your story, your guests, and the atmosphere you wish to create. Whether an intimate soirée or a grand celebration, what I offer is not simply catering, it is a thoughtfully orchestrated experience. Availability is intentionally limited.
